Tokyo
Born and raised in Detroit, Tokyo found her voice through movement at the age of 7. Shaped by the rhythm of the streets, she earned her reputation in the underground battle scene— claiming multiple wins and making her presence known without ever needing to speak. Her quiet demeanor is matched only by the intensity of her performance, having graced stages, arenas, and even circuses with raw unfiltered energy.
After surviving a devastating ankle injury that required her to relearn how to walk, she’s now returning to the floor more intentional, powerful, and unapologetic than ever. Her movement is a reflection of her story — resilience, rhythm, and rebirth.

Ressy
I was born in Michoacan, Mexico, and crossed the border into the US as a toddler, growing up in Perth Amboy, NJ, and spending many childhood days in Oak Cliff, Texas. Diagnosed with depression at a young age, I struggled with belonging and often turned to artistic expression to communicate what I couldn't put into words. Painting has been a constant in my life since 2002. During the pandemic in 2020, it became a way to cope with Fibromyalgia and C-PTSD symptoms, helping me explore and heal from my past traumas while embracing my identity as a brown, queer, and autistic woman.

Aliyah
The sole intention behind my work is to create whatever comes to my spirit and what motivates me to continue creating from my spirit is the voice of my ancestors in my ear, cheering for me loudly to express myself in ways they forgot how to. I hope that people feel whatever comes to them when they are experiencing my art. To create meaning and interpretation for people, outside of their own meaning, would be to control another persons narrative.

Cloud & Isis
Cloud is a product of the American South, cultivated and ripened for harvest in Dallas, Texas. For the past five years, poetry has reemerged into her ecosystem, and she is beyond thankful for the opportunities it has brought into my life.
Isis was born and raised in Arlington, TX started to teach and learn dancing by myself by the age of ten. My major influences growing up were Chris Brown and Ciera, then evolved to various dancers such as Bluprint & Fileshun. Now, 20 years later, I have featured in multiple music videos, primarily with local Dallas artists, and continue to participate in dance battles, workshops, and events.

MZTRILL
I create to release what words alone can’t carry. My art is rooted in truth, shaped by real-life experiences, and expressed through raw, intentional storytelling. Spoken word is my medium, but emotion is my message. I use my voice to turn pain, power, joy, and struggle into something people can feel, not just hear.
